Graduate of the William Esper Studio in New York, Camilla studied under William Esper for two years. She is also a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NY and has played roles from Duerrenmatt, Shakespeare to Sam Shepard on stage in New York as well as in Germany. Her most recent Film roles include a supporting role in Brian Barsuglias new Feature Film 'Impact Event' starring Academy Award winning actress Margaret O’Brien, as well as a role in the post-apocalyptic independent film 'We'll Meet Again' which will be screening at the 'Kolkata International Film Festival' in Bengal, India this November.
A German-American citizen, Camilla was born in Hanover, Germany, where she attended the Steiner School with an emphasis on the performing and visual arts. Part of their theater program, she started acting at the age of nine and plays the violin since she was seven. She is trilingual - besides English and German she studied French to an advanced level.
In 2010 Camilla moved to New York City. In addition to her training under William Esper and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she took a master class with Frank Langella and received vocal and speech training by Lester Shane.
New York theater credits include the role of Gogo in 'Road to Damascus ll' at the Strindberg Repertory Theater, the role of Diane in 'Rage Inc' at the Producer’s, Lady Sybil in 'What Every Woman Knows' by J M Berry, directed by Lisa Milinazzo, Dale in 'The Cashier' directed by Jonathan Bolt, and the role of Sissy in 'Come Back to the Five & Dime Jimmy Dean'.
Camilla is currently filming, working on several different films, including the feature film ‘Nahimana' which will be premiering in spring of 2018.
